These beef-flavored chewables contain a powerful ingredient Afoxolaner, which kills adult fleas before they can lay eggs and provides effective protection against flea infestations. How does it work?

Nexgard for dogs contains afoxolaner. This active ingredient is a member of the isoxazoline family. After administration, it enters dog's blood stream and disrupts nervous system functions by causing overstimulation, resulting in paralysis and eventual death of fleas and ticks.
