Popantel is a broad spectrum product for treating intestinal worms in dogs. The oral treatment works effectively against various intestinal worms such as roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. Moreover, this unique treatment also protects dogs and puppies from re infestations. However, the treatment does not prevent heartworms in dogs. Popantel contains three main ingredients – Praziquantel, Oxantel Embonate, and Pyrantel Embonate. The anthelmintic effect of these powerful ingredients directly attack and eradicate the worms and eliminate them from the dog’s body through natural process. This treatment is can be used on puppies, adult dogs, pregnant, and lactating dogs. Popantel is safe to use on puppies over 2 weeks of age.
