Equitape Paste for Horses

Equitape wormer paste is a single dose treatment for tapeworms in horses. This highly-potent and anti-tapeworm treatment kill three cestodes (tapeworms) species. It comes in highly-palatable flavor, which makes it easy to administer. The deworming treatment protects horses against tapeworm infections and provides the flexibility of combining it with other worming treatments for horses. Equitape contains Praziquantel, which is an active anthelmintic. It is effective in killing different types of worms in horses by interrupting the function of their nerve cell. The active ingredient is highly effective in killing tapeworms and protects horses from harmful infestations.

Directions

  • One syringe treats 600kgs horse.
  • Each graduation on the calibrated syringe delivers sufficient gel to treat 50kgs bodyweight.
  • Use of a scale or weigh tape is recommended to ensure accurate dosing.
  • Position the syringe between the front and back teeth and push the paste on the base of the horse’s tongue.
  • Immediately elevate the head of the horse for a few seconds to ensure deglutition.
