Eqvalan Gold is a broad spectrum wormer oral paste made especially for horses. It treats and controls tapeworms, bots, and roundworms including hairworms, pinworms, ascarids, threadworms, large and small strongyles, mouth stomachworms, lungworms, and summer sores.
How does it work?
The active ingredients are Ivermectin and Praziquantel, which work together to cause paralysis in the worms leading to their deaths. This prevents future infection from the worms. The oral paste is safe to use in pregnant and lactating mares and is suitable for foals 6 months of age or more.
Use as directed
Mares: During summer and autumn, regular dosing should be done at the interval every 6-8 weeks.
Stallions: Treat at least twice a year.
Foals: Administer proper dose for strategic treatment at 6-8 week intervals.
Withholding period: Meat for human consumption- 14 days
