Moreover, this unique treatment also protects cats and kittens from future infestations. Popantel contains two main ingredients – Praziquantel and Pyrantel Embonate. The anthelmintic effect of these ingredients directly attack and eradicate the worms and eliminates them from the cat’s body through natural process. This treatment is can be used on kittens, adult cats, pregnant, and lactating cats. Popantel is safe to use on kittens over 6 weeks of age.
