Talentcare Spot-on Cat Flea & Worm Treatment is a monthly topical flea and worm treatment for kittens and cats. It comes as an easy-to-apply liquid that remains effective for one month. Suitable for cats from 9 weeks of age, the treatment protects felines against a broad spectrum of internal and external parasites. It treats fleas and flea larvae on the cat and the surrounding areas. The formula stops flea feeding in 3 – 5 minutes and kills them in 20 minutes. It also treats and controls roundworms, hookworms, ear mites and lungworms. The spot-on reduces Flea Allergy Dermatitis and prevents heartworm infection. It is a water-resistant formula that stays effective after swimming or shampooing.
How does it work?
Talentcare Spot-on contains Imidacloprid and Moxidectin, which are parasite neurotoxins. As these active ingredients are not absorbed into your cat’s bloodstream, fleas are killed on contact. As the cat naturally sheds its skin and fur, tiny imidacloprid crystals are shed into the environment, killing flea larvae and breaking their lifecycle. Moxidectin prevents heartworm disease and treats adult, immature and larval stages of roundworms and hookworms to effectively break their lifecycle.
Directions
- Make the cat stand in a comfortable position for easy application.
- Hold the tube upright and twist off the cap.
- Remove any collar prior to application and replace it when the application is dry.
- Part the cat's hair until the skin is visible.
- Place the tip of the tube on the cat's skin and squeeze the tube firmly twice to apply the entire content directly to the skin.
- Repeat monthly, or as required.
- While bathing the cat after the treatment, use a soap-free shampoo.
- Do not apply the solution while the cat is wet.
